The first model of the new series Acer TimelineX was discovered on the Internet. This version of the Acer Aspire 4830T, which will replace the entry-level model of the TimelineX 4820TG. What was unimaginable, the new family of ultra-thin Acer adopts the Intel platform Huron River, USB 3.0 ports and a lot of changes on design and ergonomics. The first striking element is undoubtedly the new design of the range, that breaks radically with the serious and austere lines of the previous generation, despite the use of opaque plastic over the entire chassis.

The palm rest is now a metallic blue color, while the keyboard has keys blacks clearly in conflict with the bottom of silver. It also notes the abandonment of the keyboard Finetop, typical of Acer, in favor of a model that improves chiclet largely the design of the notebook. The button layout is quite rational, well thought out, while the keyboard seems comfortable.
The keys Pag next / previous, beginning and end are arranged in a column to the right of the keyboard and shortcut buttons are for media controls, combined with the Fn key. Here are the technical specifications of the model in question.
