Acer Iconia Tab W500

At MWC 2011, Acer has also shown the range of the tablet with a Windows icon. Tab icon is called the W500 and I had already anticipated here.This is a 10.1-inch model with Windows 7 and AMD Fusion but its peculiarity is the sale along with an accessory: the dock with QWERTY keyboard. In this way, the W500 is transformed into a netbook, and when we go out, we can remove it and use it as a tablet. To the traditional functions of Windows 7 Acer has added a number of applications enclosed nell’Acer Ring including utility for optimizing disk space, one for the settings of the various radio, a screen grabber, the operator for the webcam and games .

The browser is enhanced to use and supports multi-touch pinch to zoom, and for the sharing of content, clear.fi HDMI output. The hardware takes advantage of the AMD C-50 together with the AMD Radeon HD6250 graphics card and output versions are available WiFi and WiFi +3 G.

Unlike before, the Tab W500 will be available in late March to 599 € with the dock included with QWERTY.
