The HP tablet with TouchPad WebOS was presented a few days before the MWC 2011, to anticipate the avalanche of Android tablet shown and announced at the Barcelona Fair. Attending the event Catalan, HP has revealed a user interface and an operating system rewarding responsive and agile, which is a good alternative to Android. According to sources from Taiwan in Asia, the launch of HP TouchPad is planned for the month of April 2011, after the first deliveries in late March.
According to the internal objectives of the company, HP plans to dispose of 4-5 million TouchPad tablet later this year. HP TouchPad has many features similar to the iPad tablet, in particular, integrates a 10-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixels in 4:3 format, while most of the bets on Android tablet 16:10 format. These similarities could drive further sales of the tablet, HP helping in the capture of significant market share.
