Kate Hudson pregnant – that’s the latest on the “Bride Wars” actress and her rocker boyfriend, Matt Bellamy. The couple are said to be expecting a baby.

“It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it,” a source confided to Us Weekly.

Hudson, 31, and Bellamy, 32, have been dating for about nine months.

It’s the second child for Hudson and the first for Bellamy, lead singer of U.K. band Muse.

Meanwhile Hudson’s father, Bill Hudson, is reportedly hoping to release a tell-all exposé about Goldie Hawn, his ex-wife and Kate Hudson’s mother.

He was married to Hawn in 1976 and and they went on to have two children together.

Hudson opted-out of the marriage not long after daughter Kate’s birth and has been estranged from Hawn and the kids ever since.

However, now he wants to have a relationship with them, says Page Six. It quotes Hudson’s agent saying:

“What he really wants is a relationship with his children and he hopes this will help,”

Kate Hudson is the proud mother of a “healthy baby boy.” The famous daughter of Goldie Hawn gave birth Saturday evening in Los Angeles, a spokesperson confirms.

The new bundle is Kate and fiance Matt Bellamy’s first child together. Hudson also has a 7-year-old son with ex Chris Robinson of the Black Crows, named Ryder Russell.

News of Hudson’s pregnancy was reported by Us Weekly in early 2011. She met the Muse lead singer several years ago in Australia. While the actress was at one time hesitant to tie the knot again, she apprently had a change of heart, telling the world on the Today show. The turn-around may have come from the $200,000 rock from Bellamy.

Or maybe it is true love. “She’s crazy about him…Kate and Matt are so adorable together,” said a source.

Regardless, Hudson has been eager to dish about her pregnancy. In an interview with Marie Claire she revieled, “I love being pregnant. Gosh, I could be pregnant all the time.”

She also talked about how it was a little easier this time around. “This is a totally different pregnancy, completely,” she said. “It couldn’t be more opposite…With Ryder, I didn’t even have a nursery. I didn’t really have a house until I was seven months pregnant.”

The happy couple plans to return London with their new son, while Bellamy records Muse’s next album.

The news comes after reports that David and Victoria Beckham also welcomed a newborn baby on Saturday.
