The network promotes European Insafe now the fifth edition of Safer Internet Day, the day dedicated to the analysis of issues concerning a topic as sensitive as security on the Net There are many initiatives undertaken with the primary objective of raising public awareness on theme, in a time when the dynamics of the Web revolve around social networking, virtual identity, privacy and online games.
Among the topics covered also the relationship with the Internet by children, that if one side is a source of primary importance for the dissemination of knowledge to new generations, the other hidden pitfalls and dangers that can be adequately addressed only with a responsible approach by parents and teachers too often lack the skills needed.
The events organized in connection with the Safer Internet Day 2011, about 500 in 65 different countries, many of which are covered in detail in the pages of the official website of the initiative, launched with the support of the European Union.
