Sharp announced the sale, expected in the coming weeks, the new series of LCD TV LE830. The line will not include the size of panels over 70 inches, as seen in the recent trade shows, and even advanced 3D capabilities so fashionable in this period, but will boast the first to support Quattrone’s technology, for accurate color rendition. The system, introduced last year as being able to meet the needs of most demanding users on the quality of the images, involves the use of a filter in four colors, yellow (Y) to be added to red, green and blue (RGB).
Among other features previously disclosed, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, only 2.5 cm thick, four HDMI ports and the inclusion of the Watery NET platform, for the use of Web services such as streaming content from Netflix and Vudu through the integrated WiFi module. Four models planned for the line that will replace the family LE 820 in catalog Sharp, 40, 46, 52 and 60 inches, arriving in the U.S. at prices amounting to 1299.99, 1499.99, 1899, 99 and $ 2,799.99.
