Sony Xperia Arc Smartphone

Sony has taken advantage of CES 2011 to introduce a large number of innovations for which a whole article is not sufficient just to list them. The price the Japanese manufacturer is so broad as to cover virtually every area of technology, which is why we will try to publish as individual products considered most interesting. One of them is definitely Xperia Arc, the new top of the line smartphone from Sony which will see the shelves around March 2011.

It is confirmed using the Android operating system in version 2.3, while the design is immediately evident arched, which gives its name to the model. This is a solution that has enabled Sony to contain only 8.7 mm in thickness, without renouncing to satisfy the most demanding users. Then we find a very nice and multi-touch display with mobile BRAVIA Engine with a diagonal of 4.2 inches and 852×480 pixels resolution declared.

Xperia arc to shoot movies in HD and 8.1-megapixel shooting in less than optimal light conditions, thanks to the lens used with a minimum aperture of f/2.4, all passing through the sophisticated Sony Exmor processor for mobile, in practice a simplified version of that used on the Alpha fotocamenre. This obviously the HDMI connection to play movies and photos on your TV. The processor used is of type single core and has an operating frequency of 1GHz, while the volume is equal to 512MB of RAM.

The processor opens some doubt on the operating system, because if it is true that the future version of Android 3.0 Honeycomb could only work with dual core processors, Xperia Arc would be cut out of a possible upgrade. We comuque in the circumstances, where there is still definite answers to these questions.
