Acer ICON TAB W500

Tablet display with 10 “multi-touch, with additional keyboard, Windows 7 and the AMD Fusion (C-50). It has a screen resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, up to 2GB of RAM, 32GB SSD webcam and dual front and rear.

It weighs 970 grams (610 grams dock / keyboard) with 3-cell 3260 mAh battery (6 hours internet surfing, video playback 4 HD). It has HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 ports and various sensors including one for the ambient light. It will be also available with Windows 7 Professional. In recent days there has been talk of a price close to € 499 for Europe (dock not included), but there is no official information. Available in March 2011.

Acer A500 ICON TAB

Tablet 10 “1280 x 800 pixel display with Android HD and HDMI output. It has the Nvidia Tegra platform 2 (dual core 1GHz), 1GB of RAM and flash memory up to 32Gb. Dual webcam (2 +5 MegaPixel), WiFi, Bluetooth and HSPA optional, weighs about 700 grams in WiFi version only (+30 grams with the integrated 3G).

The OS is Android 3.0 Honeycomb, which comes with a number of Internally app. The battery model is a 3260mAh lithium-polymer (such as the W500 seen above) capable of a range estimated to be 10 hours of web browsing and 8 hours of HD video on Youtube in WiFi. Also this tablet is talk of a price close to € 499 with availability in April 2011 but not yet the official.

Acer A100 ICON TAB

Tablet 7 “HoneyComb Android platform and Nvidia Tegra 2. It has a screen 1024 x 600 pixels, HSPA module optional dual 2 and 5-megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB 2.0 connections. Detail screen, able to recognize up to 5 input simultaneously.

It weighs 450 grams in WiFi only version and features a smaller battery than the other Acer tablet, 1530 mAh, however, able to provide 5 hours of HD video streaming. The interior space is 8GB with the possibility of expansion through microSD card. Again Acer Android 3.0 provides a series of pre-installed app internally generated and able to take advantage of the Clear.fi integrated into other products of the same company.
